Does treatment with hydroxychloroquine increase the risk of hypertension or exacerbate pre-existing hypertension?

I cannot find any evidence of hydroxychloroquine increasing the risk of hypertension or exacerbating pre-existing hypertension. There are many studies, however, demonstrating HCQ to reduce the risk of CV events, including in patients who have preexisting HTN and diabetes.
